Payday 3: How to Level Up Fast
Leveling up your character in Payday 3 is crucial for unlocking new weapons, gear, equipment, and cosmetics. Unlike Payday 2, Payday 3 has a new feature that players should consider using to level up their character quickly and gain access to new and advanced tools to make heist missions easier.
If you are looking to learn how to level up your character quickly, then you are at the right place. This guide will help you understand how to level up your character quickly in Payday 3.
How to Level Up Fast in Payday 3
The fastest way to level up your character in Payday 3 is by completing challenges. Unlike Payday 2, where you have to complete objectives to earn extra experience points, you must complete challenges in Payday 3 during your heists to earn extra experience points. There are three different types of challenges in Payday 3:
- Heist
- Career
- Combat
Each category has several challenges for you to complete. You can view your available challenges under the Challenges Tab in the main menu of the game. The Heist category has over 600 challenges and the Combat category has over 400 challenges. You should consider completing these challenges right from the very first heist mission, No Rest for the Wicked. The earlier challenges are easy, such as using a certain tool during the heist or marking a certain number of targets/cameras.
Completing each challenge will give you a certain number of Infamy Points, which are the experience points in Payday 3, similar to Payday 2. Your levels are also called Infamies in Payday 3, and as you level up the Infamies, you will unlock new guns and equipment. So, to get those extra Infamy Points, view your challenges and see which ones you can complete easily or which ones are close to completion. After that, start the heist mission and try to complete the challenges as you complete objectives for the mission to get bonus Infamy Points at the end of the mission.
Payday 2 has a cap Infamy Level of 100, but Payday 3 has a cap Infamy Level of 150. Leveling up your Infamy Level by every 4-5 levels will earn you a Skill Point, which you can then invest in one of the Skill Trees to strengthen an ability for your character. In short, everything is tied to the leveling of your character, so make sure that you are earning decent Infamy Points at the end of every Heist Mission to level up your character quickly.
